Accuride Ruled Immune From Suit Over Contract Bid

Law360, New York (March 31, 2010, 7:35 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has ruled that wheel manufacturer Hutchinson Industries Inc. cannot sue rival Accuride Corp. for patent infringement based on wheels it made for a contractor bidding on work for the federal government.

Judge Freda L. Wolfson of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey ruled Tuesday that Hutchinson instead would need to bring its case against the U.S. government in the Court of Federal Claims.
