Ex-Exec Indicted In Cathode Tube Price-Fixing Scheme

Law360, New York (March 31, 2010, 1:47 PM EDT) -- A grand jury has indicted a former executive of a Taiwan-based company for allegedly participating in a global conspiracy to fix the prices of color display tubes, a type of cathode ray tube used in computer monitors.

An indictment filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California charged Chung Cheng “Alex” Yeh with conspiracy in restraint of trade.

Neither the U.S. Department of Justice nor the indictment said which company Yeh worked for in Taiwan. Yeh is not in the custody...
