Hospital, Health Plans End Oxycontin Antitrust Suits

Law360, New York (April 1, 2010, 1:24 PM EDT) -- Three employee health plans and New York's Winthrop University Hospital are the latest to settle lawsuits accusing Purdue Pharma LP of stifling generic competition by filing bogus patent litigation for OxyContin, as the drugmaker continues its attempt at resolving all of the pending cases in the multidistrict litigation.
