Lateral Movement Still Increasing, But At Slower Pace

Law360, New York (April 01, 2010, 7:12 PM ET) -- Lateral movement in the legal industry in March increased, but the pace slowed compared to the movement seen in the previous month. The largest single move came from K&L Gates LLP, which plucked six partners and five counsel from Hogan & Hartson LLP's Warsaw, Poland, office.

Overall, a total of 202 partners, shareholders, of counsel, special counsel and managing partners moved to new firms in March, a 1.5 percent rise from the 198 lateral moves seen in February, according to data Law360 compiled from law firm...
