Microtune, Broadcom Settle Chip Patent Suit

Law360, New York (June 14, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Chip makers Microtune and Broadcom Corp. have settled their far-reaching litigation over patents for analog signal processing technology.

Under the terms of the settlement agreement, all outstanding claims in pending litigation will be dismissed with prejudice, the companies said in a statement.

The settlement agreement also provides for reciprocal releases covering all asserted and unasserted claims between the parties, the companies said.
