Ledbetter Saves Professor's Race, Origin Bias Claim

Law360, New York (April 5, 2010, 5:43 PM EDT) -- Just 15 months ago, an English professor's employment discrimination lawsuit against Prairie View A&M University would have been time barred, but now, because of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, she can bring her claim, according to a Texas state appeals court.
