High Court To Hear Coca-Cola Bottler Appeal

Law360, New York (January 08, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday agreed to hear BCI Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Los Angeles’ appeal of a case concerning the firing of a black employee who alleges his supervisor discriminates against blacks.

In June, a three-judge panel with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit reinstated the case, which had been dismissed on summary judgment by a judge with the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico.
