Continental, AXA $23M Reinsurance Dispute Lives On

Law360, New York (April 6, 2010, 6:59 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has refused to kill a decade-long, $23 million reinsurance dispute between Continental Casualty Co. and AXA Global Risks (UK) Ltd. and Assicurazioni Generali SpA over the construction of a Missouri power plant.

Judge Fernando J. Gaitan Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri on Friday denied a motion to dismiss by defendants AXA and Generali, as well as plaintiff Continental's motion for a preliminary injunction.
