Law360, New York (January 09, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Software company McAfee Inc. will extend the exercise period for several of its stock options grants, recording a charge of between $25 million and $45 million that will affect the results of several fiscal quarters.
McAfee’s board of directors approved an amendment to the company’s options plan, under which the exercise period for certain options agreements that would have expired before the company restated its financials has been extended until 90 days after McAfee’s statements are up to date.
