Pittsburgh Hyatts Settle Housekeeping OT Class Action

Law360, New York (April 9, 2010, 12:40 PM EDT) -- Global Hyatt Corp. and a staffing company have settled a putative class action filed by housekeeping and janitorial staff at two Pittsburgh-area hotels who claimed they were stiffed of overtime wages in violation of state and federal labor laws.

Judge Nora Barry Fischer of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania signed an order dismissing the case Thursday, writing that the parties were ironing out the final details of the settlement.
