Raymarine Exits Honeywell Navigation Patent Suit

Law360, New York (April 12, 2010, 4:29 PM EDT) -- Honeywell International Inc. has dropped marine electronics company Raymarine Inc. from a patent infringement suit against a handful of companies over navigation devices for marine vehicles.

Judge Michael Davis of the the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota on Thursday agreed to let Raymarine exit the suit without prejudice.

The parties had filed a joint stipulation for dismissal earlier in April, though representatives for the companies could not be reached for comment as to whether a settlement was reached.
