Fed. Circ. Axes $21M Patent Verdict Against Nintendo

Law360, New York (April 13, 2010, 6:01 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has thrown out a $21 million jury verdict and reversed an injunction against Nintendo of America Inc. that would have rendered the video game giant temporarily unable to sell controllers for its popular Wii, GameCube and Wavebird Wireless consoles in the U.S.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Thursday reversed a lower court's finding that Nintendo's game controllers infringe a patent held by Anascape Ltd.
