Calif. Water Board Decision On River Pollution Upheld

Law360, New York (April 14, 2010, 4:14 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court has upheld the State Water Resources Control Board's decision to set discharge limits for salt and boron and address low levels of dissolved oxygen in the San Joaquin River.

In a decision Tuesday upholding a lower court ruling, a three-judge panel of the Court of Appeal of the State of California, Third Appellate District, rejected challenges from the San Joaquin River Exchange Contractors Water Authority and San Joaquin River Group Authority.
