E.On Calls For Probe Into Acciona, Endesa Collusion

Law360, New York (January 11, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Just one day after Spain’s highest court greenlighted the takeover of Spain’s Endesa SA by German utility E.On AG, the proposed merger encountered fresh troubles, with the Spanish stock market regulator CNMV revealing that E.On has called for a probe into possible collusion between Endesa and Spanish energy and construction firm Acciona SA.
