Mayo Foundation, Philips Clear Up Imaging Patent Spat

Law360, New York (April 16, 2010, 1:05 PM EDT) -- Royal Philips Electronics Inc. has reached a settlement in the Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research's infringement suit over four patents related to medical imaging technology.

Judge Patrick Schiltz of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota signed off Thursday on an order dismissing the case with prejudice.
