Flabby Weight Bias Policies Pose Threat For Employers

Law360, New York (May 26, 2010, 2:17 PM EDT) -- Even as more laws are adopted against judging workers based on their weight, employers are doing little to shape up their policies and practices, leaving themselves open to litigation down the road, according to employment experts.

Companies need to start getting serious about addressing weight discrimination and can take several steps to make sure they are treating employees and job candidates fairly regardless of their body size, experts say.
