Skadden Advises Visa On $2B Deal For CyberSource

Law360, New York (April 21, 2010, 2:07 PM EDT) -- Visa Inc. has reached a deal to buy online payment solutions company CyberSource Corp. in a $2 billion cash deal designed to boost Visa's profile in the global online commerce market and expand its online payment, fraud and security management capabilities.

Visa will pay $26 per share for CyberSource, which processes approximately 25 percent of all e-commerce dollars transacted in the United States. CyberSource names British Airways PLC, Home Depot Inc., Facebook Inc. and Google Inc. as clients.
