Ethics Panel To Probe Massa Sex Harassment Claims

Law360, New York (April 21, 2010, 4:44 PM EDT) -- The House Ethics Committee announced Wednesday that it had launched a formal investigation into the conduct of former Rep. Eric J. Massa, D-N.Y., who resigned in March amid claims that he had sexually harassed a male staffer.

The House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct voted unanimously to conduct a full inquiry into Massa's alleged misconduct, according to a statement released Wednesday by committee chair Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif., and ranking committee member Rep. Jo Bonner, R-Ala.
