ITC Releases Report On Sleeping Bag Duties

Law360, New York (April 22, 2010, 5:06 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has submitted to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative its review of the economic impact of removing sleeping bags from the list of articles eligible for duty-free treatment under the U.S. Generalized System of Preferences.

The ITC, which submitted its report on the probable economic effect of the policy change to the USTR on April 8, released a public version of its report Thursday with the economic data redacted but the unclassified background information intact.
