ES&S, Datacard Sued Over E-Voting Registration IP

Law360, New York (April 22, 2010, 1:33 PM EDT) -- Voting machine giant Electronic Systems & Software Inc. and secure identification card company Datacard Corp. have been tagged with a patent infringement suit over technology related to electronic poll register systems.

Decision Support LLC and inventor David Watson filed suit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, seeking treble damages and injunctive relief for what they call willful and wanton infringement.
