Wal-Mart Medical Treatment Action Stayed For Appeal

Law360, New York (April 22, 2010, 4:50 PM ET) -- A federal court has stayed a class action against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. while an appeals court decides whether to review a class certification order in the case, which alleges a conspiracy to manipulate the medical treatment received by injured workers.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado stayed the suit Tuesday, pending acceptance of the appeal of class certification Wal-Mart has requested in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
