Ex-Whistleblower Counsel Faces Contempt Charge

Law360, New York (April 22, 2010, 4:55 PM EDT) -- Federal prosecutors on Thursday charged the former U.S. attorney for government whistleblowers with criminal contempt for withholding information from a congressional committee.

A two-page filing lodged in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia said former U.S. Special Counsel Scott Bloch did not turn over information relating to an investigation of his use of a private computer repair company called Geeks On Call for file-scrubbing.
