DOJ Pushes For Judgment In India Steel Case

Law360, New York (April 23, 2010, 4:01 PM ET) -- The U.S. government has asked the U.S. Court of International Trade to convert its remand order into a final judgment in a spat over stainless steel bar imports from India.

If granted, the bid — filed Thursday in the CIT — would allow the Department of Commerce to conduct administrative reviews of an additional number of companies if the court decides such examinations are necessary, the government said.
