Law360, New York (April 23, 2010, 2:26 PM ET) -- Biamp Systems Corp. has asked a federal appeals court to overturn a $1 million award of attorneys' fees in a $10 million trade secret dispute with ClearOne Communications Inc. over audio-conferencing technology software code.
Biamp filed notice of its appeal of the March attorneys' fee order in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah on Thursday, taking the issue to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
