Drugstores Ask Court To Reconsider Plavix Ruling

Law360, New York (April 26, 2010, 5:20 PM EDT) -- CVS Pharmacy Inc., The Kroger Co. and other direct purchasers of blood-thinning drug Plavix are asking a federal court to reconsider the dismissal of antitrust cases brought against pharmaceutical companies Sanofi Aventis, Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and Apotex Corp.

Direct drug purchasers, which also included Meijer Inc., Rochester Drug Cooperative Inc. and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan Inc., on Friday asked the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio to reconsider the dismissal in light of new factual developments.
