ITC To Review Duties On Antiseptic From China, Spain

Law360, New York (April 26, 2010, 5:40 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has begun its five-year review of anti-dumping duties assessed against China and Spain on chlorinated isocyanurates, a type of chemical typically used as an antiseptic in swimming pools.

The U.S. International Trade Commission is slated to assess whether revoking the duties will hurt U.S. producers, it said in a notice published Thursday. The notice gives interested parties until July to weigh in on the duties, first set in two June 24, 2005 orders.
