Latham Advises Thoratec In $136M Danaher Deal

Law360, New York (April 26, 2010, 2:44 PM EDT) -- Looking to commit more resources to its heart pump device business, Thoratec Corp. has agreed to sell its diagnostic testing systems division to Danaher Corp. in a deal worth about $136 million.

Pleasanton, Calif.-based Thoratec said Monday it had signed a definitive deal to hand Washington-based Danaher its International Technidyne Corp. division, which specializes in blood testing and skin incision products.
