Buffalo Seeks Exit From Infineon-Elpida DRAM Spat

Law360, New York (April 26, 2010, 3:21 PM EDT) -- Buffalo Inc. has agreed not to import into the U.S. products using dynamic random access memory chips made by Elpida Memory Inc., seeking an early exit from a U.S. International Trade Commission probe into Infineon Technologies AG's patent infringement claims over Elpida memory products.

The Japan-based company and its American unit asked an ITC administrative law judge to dismiss them from the investigation Friday, agreeing to abide by a consent order barring the sale of the allegedly infringing products in the U.S.
