Canadian Pharmacists Protest U.S. Drug Exports

Law360, New York (January 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Canadian pharmacist groups banded together on Monday to fight a bill pending in the U.S. Congress that they say could clean out Canada’s drug supply.

In a letter sent to Canadian Health Minister Tony Clement, the Canadian Pharmacists Association, the Ontario Pharmacists Association, the Best Medicines Coalition and the Canadian Association for Pharmacy Distribution urged Clement to ban drug exports to the United States.
