1 Of 5 Voltage Regulator Patents Cut From Infineon Suit

Law360, New York (April 29, 2010, 2:53 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has handed down a judgment of noninfringement for one of five patents asserted by Volterra Semiconductor Corp. against Infineon Technologies AG in an intellectual property and antitrust fight over voltage regulators found in many electronics products.

Judge Joseph C. Spero of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Wednesday accepted the parties' agreement, reached after a Markman hearing, that two of the defendants' products did not infringe 12 asserted claims of U.S. Patent Number 6,713,823.
