Stragent Targets Slew Of Tech, Car Cos. In IP Suits

Law360, New York (April 30, 2010, 6:47 PM EDT) -- Texas patent-holding company Stragent LLC has rounded up more than two dozen companies, including Freescale Semiconductor Inc., Amazon.com Inc., Match.com LLC and Audi AG, in litigation alleging infringement of various patents ranging from network processing to cruise control technology.

Stragent and Texas nonprofit firm SeeSaw Foundation lodged four separate lawsuits Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. SeeSaw is the owner of the patents asserted in the suits, and Stragent is the exclusive licensee.
