Judge Postpones Trial Over CA Auto-Emission Law

Law360, New York (January 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has pushed off a trial date for a suit aiming to prevent a California law that would put in place the world’s most stringent auto-emission standards.

Judge Anthony Ishii of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California further ruled that the California Air Resources Board should hold off on implementing tailpipe-emission regulations for greenhouse gases until the U.S. Supreme Court makes a judgment on a similar case.
