NEC Settles In Jaco DRAM Price-Fixing Suit

Law360, New York (May 4, 2010, 2:36 PM EDT) -- Tokyo-based broadband solutions company NEC Electronics Corp. has become the latest defendant to settle with Jaco Electronics Inc., which has accused a number of companies of conspiring to fix prices in the $20 billion market for dynamic random access memory chips.

The two companies agreed to bear their own costs in the case, according to an order issued by Judge Phyllis J. Hamilton on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
