Fed. Circ. Upholds Emcore Fiber Optics Patents

Law360, New York (May 6, 2010, 4:39 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed a lower court's ruling that Emcore Corp. didn't try to mislead the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office when it applied for two patents on fiber-optic technology, handing a victory to Emcore in its dispute with rival Optium Corp. over the patents.
