Skullcandy, Tritton Settle Integrated Audio IP Suit

Law360, New York (May 11, 2010, 1:08 PM EDT) -- Gaming component maker Tritton Technologies Inc. has reached a settlement in audio equipment maker Skullcandy Inc.'s infringement suit over a music-talk integration patent for cell phones.

Vista, Calif.-based Tritton never answered the complaint or filed a motion for summary judgment, according to an order posted Monday by Judge Dee Benson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah — where the case is still pending against bigger players such as Philips Electronics North America Corp. and Samsung Electronics America Inc.
