Law360, New York (May 07, 2010, 6:09 PM ET) -- Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc. said Friday that it had reached a settlement with Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. in a patent infringement dispute over the oral contraceptive Seasonale.
Under the settlement agreement, Teva subsidiary Teva Women's Health Inc. will grant Watson subsidiary Watson Laboratories Inc. a fully paid-up license to the U.S. patents covering Seasonale tablets, and Watson will continue marketing its generic equivalent product known as Quasense, according to Watson.
