Buffalo Exits Infineon-Elpida Memory Patent Feud

Law360, New York (May 10, 2010, 12:33 PM EDT) -- A U.S. International Trade Commission administrative law judge has signed off on Buffalo Inc.'s bid to exit Infineon Technologies AG's suit alleging that dynamic random access memory chips made by Elpida Memory Inc. infringe four patents.

Administrative Law Judge Theodore R. Essex on Thursday granted Buffalo's unilateral motion for dismissal from the case, which alleges that several companies that have imported Elpida's chips into the U.S. infringed Infineon's patents.
