EPA, Others Slam Smurfit-Stone's Superfund Reserves

Law360, New York (May 10, 2010, 1:45 PM EDT) -- Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. has drawn the ire of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and a host of energy companies that say the amount of money the bankrupt packaging company set aside for environmental cleanup costs at an Oregon Superfund site is insufficient and should instead be estimated by the court.
