NBA Star Says $90M Antitrust Suit Still 'Meritless'

Law360, New York (May 10, 2010, 3:54 PM EDT) -- Basketball star Dwyane Wade has again asked a district court to throw out an antitrust suit accusing the Miami Heat guard of restraining competition in personalized memorabilia markets by backing out of a restaurant endorsement deal.

Wade filed a motion to dismiss Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, saying that the plaintiff, a restaurant investor group called LH Equity Investments LLC, had again failed to define a relevant market in the company's second amended complaint.
