Infineon Goes On Offensive Over Microprocessor Patent

Law360, New York (May 14, 2010, 4:50 PM EDT) -- Infineon Technologies AG has launched a declaratory judgment suit arguing that it does not infringe a Texas-based inventor's microprocessor technology patent.

The Germany-based semiconductor company filed suit Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, claiming that its microcontrollers do not infringe U.S. Patent Number 6,347,368, despite inventor Jerry David Harthcock's accusations to the contrary.
