Nintendo Sues Websites Over Pirating Devices

Law360, New York (May 12, 2010, 5:33 PM EDT) -- Nintendo of America Inc. has sued several websites, seeking damages and injunctive relief to block them from importing and selling devices designed to allow users to play pirated versions of Nintendo DS and DSi video games.

Kevin Niu, through various websites including www.nxpgame.com, www.wiiloveds.com and www.kniu.net, sells so-called game copiers and uses Nintendo's registered trademarks in connection with his products, according to a suit filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
