Cravath Reps Cincinnati Bell In $525M Data Center Deal

Law360, New York (May 13, 2010, 3:28 PM EDT) -- Cincinnati Bell Inc. has agreed to buy data center operator CyrusOne from investment firm Abry Partners for $525 million in cash in order to expand its own data center operations.

The transaction, which the companies announced Wednesday, will make CyrusOne a wholly owned subsidiary of Cincinnati Bell. It will keep its brand and management team.

The deal will give Cincinnati Bell seven data centers in Houston, Dallas and Austin, Texas, with a total of 163,000 square feet of data center capacity.
