Exxon Dodges Interest In NYC's MTBE Case

Law360, New York (May 13, 2010, 5:24 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has declined to award New York tens of millions of dollars in prejudgment interest, dating to February 2002, on top of a jury's award of $105 million against Exxon Mobil Corp. for polluting water with the gas additive methyl tertiary-butyl ether.
