Adelphia Trust Argues For Revival Of Fraud Case

Law360, New York (May 18, 2010, 8:02 PM EDT) -- A lawyer representing a recovery trust for formerly bankrupt Adelphia Communications Corp. asked an appeals court Tuesday to allow the trust to proceed with fraudulent transfer claims against banks that allegedly contributed to the company’s collapse, arguing that dismissal of such cases could lead to longer bankruptcies.
