9th Circ. Greenlights Shell's Alaska Drilling Plans

Law360, New York (May 13, 2010, 6:06 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has scrapped an attempt by a number of environmental and local interest groups to stop Shell Oil Corp. from drilling oil wells in Alaska's Chukchi and Beaufort seas, upholding the U.S. Department of the Interior's approval of the oil giant's plans.
