ITC, Commerce To Continue Aluminum Extrusion Probe

Law360, New York (May 14, 2010, 3:22 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has voted unanimously to continue its anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations of imports of aluminum extrusions from the People's Republic of China after finding a reasonable indication that the imports are hurting U.S. industry.

The ITC, which began investigating the aluminum imports in March, said it had determined that aluminum extrusions may be subsidized and sold in the U.S. at less than fair value. The U.S. Department of Commerce launched its own parallel investigation in April.
