JPMorgan Faces New OT Suit From Tech Workers

Law360, New York (May 17, 2010, 6:42 PM EDT) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co. is facing a putative class action filed by a former employee who claims the bank failed to properly compensate technical support workers after reclassifying them as nonexempt from the overtime provisions of New York's labor laws.

Lead plaintiff Andrew Clarke lodged the complaint Monday in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, accusing JPMorgan of willfully failing to pay class members overtime compensation in violation of Article 19 of New York Labor Law.
