DOL Seeks To Force Tenn. Commerce To Rehire CFO

Law360, New York (May 18, 2010, 3:33 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Labor has moved to force Tennessee Commerce Bank to rehire its former chief financial officer after finding that the bank fired him in violation of whistleblower protections.

Secretary of Labor Hinda L. Solis filed a complaint Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, seeking to enforce a preliminary order issued in March to reinstate Tennessee Commerce's former CFO.
