Google To Buy VoIP Co. Global IP Solutions For $68M

Law360, New York (May 18, 2010, 5:13 PM EDT) -- A Google Inc. unit has offered $68.2 million to buy Global IP Solutions Holding AB, a Norwegian-listed technology company specializing in voice and video processing in Internet communications.

Google Acquisition Holdings Inc. has entered into a transaction agreement to make a voluntary public cash offer to buy all shares of the San Francisco-based company for NOK 13 ($2.12) in cash per share, the companies said Tuesday. The deal is valued at about NOK 421 million ($68.2 million).
