American Signature Dodges Reassessed Furniture Duties

Law360, New York (May 19, 2010, 4:59 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade has handed American Signature Inc. a victory in its bid to block the U.S. Department of Commerce from reassessing anti-dumping duties on wooden bedroom furniture from China, ordering the government to liquidate the subject entries at their original rate.

Judge Leo M. Gordon issued a final judgment in favor of American Signature on Tuesday in accordance with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit's March 10 decision.
